Arianna Huffington
Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington is a Greek American author syndicated columnist and a businesswoman. She's the co-founder and CEO of Thrive Global, as well as the author of fifteen books. Arianna Huffington is a philanthropist, author television host, and proprietor of the liberally independent online newsmagazine The Huffington Post. She was born in Greece and immigrated to England at age sixteen. When she attended Cambridge University, she graduated with an MA in economics. At the time, Guardian listed her among the top 100 journalists. AOL Inc. bought The Huffington Post, and she became president of the group of media. This included many AOL products at the time such as Engadget AOL style list and Patch Media. Her parents were Elli and Konstantinos Stasinopoulos who was a management advisor and journalist. Even though she was in a close relationship with both her father and mother and father, it was their relationship which helped mold her. She was a leader even in her early years. She moved to England at age 16 to complete her schooling as well as enrolled at Girton College Cambridge. When she was in the college years, she was a member of the college debate Society Cambridge Union where she became the third foreign, and first female president.
