Morgan Fairchild, born Patsy An McClenny on the 3rd day of February is an American actor. The actress gained fame in the final decade of 1970 and in the early 1980s with continuing roles in various television shows, with which she frequently portrayed the image of a glamourous woman. Fairchild was first noticed in the role of Jennifer Pace in Search for Tomorrow which was a CBS show that aired on a daytime basis from 1973 to 1977. She starred in 1978 in the soap opera of the same name Dallas as the first actress to portray Jenna Wade before taking a part in the lead role of the NBC show Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she received an Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Television Series Drama). In 1984, she starred in ABC's short-lived, primetime soap Paper Dolls and then appeared in Falcon Crest as attorney Jordan Roberts between 1985 and 1986. Fairchild has also been seen in theatre, as well as in the role of a guest on TV programs like Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. The actress was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 for her part in this program. She is also a member of the board of SAG-AFTRA.
