Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu, an American voice actor, producer and singer, is also a talented actress. She is an attractive, intelligent actress who inspires many Asian actors to achieve success in Hollywood. After several appearances on popular television series, she became famous when she was cast in the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she played Ling Woo. After a sudden surge in popularity, the actress landed roles on big screens like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. For Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an impressive performance in the role of Japanese crime boss O-Ren Ishii. Around the same time she was playing leading roles in several films that failed at the box office, such as Rise: Blood Hunter. Then she began voicing the characters of animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Small screen roles such as Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia didn't yield any outcomes. A recurring role in the critically acclaimed police drama Southland has helped her regain recognition as an actress of note. Liu is careful when choosing roles in order so that she doesn't get stereotyped in a field that is highly competitive. Although she's embraced her heritage, she hasn't let them restrict her artistic abilities.
