Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian and television host best known as the anchor of The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and grew up within Little Rock, Atwater and Atwater. Sheryl comes from a family which has experienced a variety of problems. She spent most of her growing up taking care of her older sister Frankie suffering from Polio. She was in trouble with her mother while growing older. Sheryl states that in the past, her mother would stab her father due to him becoming too close to her. When she graduated from college Sheryl entered the military. She was however interested in comedy. It was her first time as a female in the 1989 competition Miller Lite Comedy Search. She began her TV career in 1992, when she made a cameo appearance as a frequent performer on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. Since 2011, she has been appearing as a co-host on the talk show The Talk. The actress has appeared on fictional series such as Bulworth Nikki Beauty Shop and others.
