Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. She is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father, an native of Argentina with Scottish and English heritage is her mother. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's prior marriage. They were originally from Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. Taylor-Joy stated that the move had been painful, and she refused to pursue a degree in English because she hoped to be able to return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after switching from Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in plays. When she reached the age of 16, Taylor-Joy dropped out to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy has always wanted to become an actor. As a teenager, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the possibility to be a model.
